DESCRIPTION:
*Muharram brings together two powerful stories: Allah’s rescue of Musa and the sacrifice of Imam Husayn. One is a story of deliverance. The other, a story of tragedy.. Both teach us profound lessons about faith, resilience, trust in God, and remaining steadfast through life’s greatest hardships.
Join Shaykh Dr. Asim Yusuf to discover what Musa, Husayn, and Prophet Muhammad ﷺ teach about holding on to faith when life doesn’t unfold the way you hoped. The Prophet ﷺ called Muharram the “month of Allah.” As the new year begins, there’s no better time to reflect on the state of your heart through their stories.

For parents: The Heavy Suitcase Analogy
A beautiful way to explain to children that there are certain ideas and concepts that are too heavy for them to carry until they’re older.
And what to do when they come across such an idea or concept from school or elsewhere… how should you react when they bring it up?
If you feel distant from Allah, ask yourself: Who moved?
A beautiful reminder from on experiencing and feeling Allah’s love… namely through loving and following the Final Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him).
Say ˹O Prophet˺: If you ˹truly˺ love God, then follow me; God will love you and forgive your sins. God is All-Forgiving, Most Merciful. (3:31)
May Allah grant us His love through the love and emulation of the most beloved 🤲🏽

DESCRIPTION:
*Your child is not you.* So why do we so often expect our children to think like us, learn like us, respond like us, be like us, or need what we needed?
Maybe one child is outgoing and expressive, while another is quiet and sensitive. Maybe one responds well to structure, while another shuts down under pressure. The problem is not always that your child is “difficult” - sometimes you simply don’t yet understand how they’re wired.
Join *Ustadh Mohammed Isaaq* to discover how understanding your child’s temperament can change the way you parent, communicate, discipline, and connect. You’ll leave with a deeper insight into - and appreciation of - your child, and yourself.
