Today we are celebrating miss Nahlas 6th Birthday with all her friends!!!

We opened the doors to Frrrbabiez Inn in June 2016. This month marks 10 years open for us. We have raised prices $10 since then. Correction, $5 for boarding, $10 for daycare.

The backlash from some is not ok. Me and my wife have given every ounce of energy we have into the place. We have tried to keep prices low for everyone to be able to use us. The boarding average for Iowa is $30- 50 we are at the low end, on that but almost every other kennel charges fees for just about everything, bath fee if your dog soils themselves, we do it for free, a lot of new dogs become stressed the first night and will soil themselves several time because of this no matter how sweet we treat them, what happens Facebook bad review. If I decide we need to change things for the safety, cleanliness and all round well being of my kennel I will do it.. I will come up with ideas and involve all of my costumers in decided the best one. What I don’t need is people, who are now blocked, talking about kennel cough smells, and things that have absolutely nothing to do with my question or changes. Kennel cough is an illness like a cold or the flu, if a cold is going to keep you from coming to us god help you if you have a child in school or day care. Any I just want to remind everyone frrrbabiez is our life, if you use us for daycare it’s a large part of yours if you use us for boarding we are part of your life but not as frequently, but at the end of the day it is everything to Lindsay and I so if you have something bad to say please say it to our face or in a private phone call. Picture this 20-30 daycare dogs get dropped off between the hours of 7-10 am. Bumper to bumper at times. Now add all boarding dogs at same time. Also same from 3-6. Now you have people upset because it’s taking too long. New clients have to fill out new forms even longer. When there is a long line now groomers are being taken away from their dogs to walk dogs through their room to help out and/or second keeneler is now using the grooming door to let dogs go home. Then on top of all that grooming dogs are coming at those times to make traffic longer. We are being ran through the wringer trying to please everyone. We are trying to please everyone and when we ask for a small change we are being awful. This is not just playing with your pets all day. This is also dealing with people being mean to us, pets having all their needs met, ensuring the safety of the pets and the staff. Using the grooming doors for boarding/daycare can be an inconvenience bc our groomers will have to keep their pups safe too while doors are opening

Ok, I knew not everyone would like my $10 charge, here is a second idea.

Much like a hotel and I have seen several other facilities that have this listed.

Checkout your pup by noon, otherwise another day is added to the bill.
Check in after 3, unless you set up before hand you will still get a charge of $10.

So I will have a vote:

If you think the $10 drop off before 10 a.m is your choice, put a heart

If the checkout by noon is a better option for you, put a like.

Economy has changed and gone up in price. We have not raised our rates in a while. The expenses to run the facility have gone up. We aren’t asking a lot.

Beginning July 1st, there will be an additional fee added to your bill if you drop off before 10 a.m ($10) and an additional fee added if you pick up after 3 p.m ($10). I apologize for these extra costs. Let me clarify, this is for Mon-Fri. We have had almost every boarding dropped off before 9 a.m. we then have to feed, water, let out and supervise when in play group.
