We promised to cut government-sanctioned bureaucracy, and we are delivering. By passing Iowa House File 2635, we are stopping insurance companies from forcing doctors to waste hours on paperwork just to get approval for standard emergency care and cancer screenings.

This is a major win for common sense, transparent healthcare, and patient rights in Iowa. Glad to see the Governor sign it into law.

Delivering on my commitment to Iowa's children. Proud to have voted for the legislation establishing a permanent, annual $3 million investment in pediatric cancer research. Grateful to Governor Reynolds for signing this important bill into law.

Strong communities are built on safety and justice. I was proud to support Iowa House File 2794 to establish Iowa's new Safe Center, ensuring survivors of domestic violence and human trafficking have a dedicated place to find hope and critical resources.

The annual Mason City Memorial Day Ceremony will take place tomorrow morning, Monday, May 25, at Elmwood-St. Joseph Cemetery. Assembly begins at 9:15 AM, followed by the main program at 9:30 AM.
