The song “Surrounded (Fight My Battles)” by Michael W. Smith has been on repeat in my house for the past few days. I’ll be transparent and say it’s been a bit of a tougher week, but I’m not allowing myself to get discouraged.

God’s Word is true, He is faithful in everything. God is not a liar, and everything that He has promised us will come to pass. In tough situations we need to run to God, and to His Word for perfect wisdom. Praise Him in the storms. Lay your situation down at His feet and say “I trust you.”

God is faithful. He is your Healer, Provider, Comforter, Strength, Firm Foundation.

I just recently finished this commissioned piece. Some lyrics from an amazing song that I’ve always loved, that I will link down below. 🤗

The person who requested this piece gave me lots of creative freedom to paint out what I was envisioning, so I went with lots of gold and pearlescent shades, with a gold embossing for the letters to really fit the theme!

This was also very timely and a great reminder for this current season we are all in right now. It has not been an easy year for many people, but we should always use the opportunities given to us to be the light in the world for others.

I saw this quote the other day. I had never seen it before and my mind was blown. In this life we have various trials that come, it’s inevitable. But It’s always about PERSPECTIVE. Every time I’ve gone through a battle, my end goal when I make it out is to be able to help others who may go through the same thing in the future. Every trial I’ve ever had, I always come out on the other side. I fight my battles with God as my firm foundation. We aren’t meant to figure everything out on our own, but God gives us the victory in EVERY situation if we allow Him to take over. If you’re in the middle of a battle right now, I hope this will encourage you to keep fighting until you move that mountain!! Encourage others with your story, that they too can make it.
