This one's been a long time coming, but it finally left the shop about a month ago (I'm behind on my posts).

This 1968 just passed through the shop for a new bridge and nut. Someone had replaced the original bridge with a really poorly made one.

I'm closing the shop until I've recovered from surgery. I plan to start taking orders/jobs again in January if not earlier.

Drive belt's busted...

This seam somehow came loose, shifted to this angle, and re-adhered. The result was several open seams and a badly warped autoharp.

This autoharp needs some serious work.

This Deering 6-string banjo came through the shop last week. It needed a lot of setup work. The head was too loose. The neck had way too much relief. The bridge was off center and not intonated. It's all correct now though, and the owner loves it!

This D-28 Marquis was in the shop for a refret last week.

Finished up my last rebuild until after surgery about a week ago.

Reinforcing the fingerboard extension
I though I was going to have to replace this fingerboard (even ordered a new one), but I was able to very carefully adjust the neck heel and reinforce the fingerboard extension over the body. I've only ever had one of these boards completely fall apart, but I thought for sure this would be the second.
It's still a terrible material, and I hate it.🤬
