All Contra Costa County Libraries will be closed on Friday, June 19 for Juneteenth. All libraries will reopen for our normal hours on Saturday, June 20.

The Library Administration building in Martinez is currently experiencing a power outage. Because our network is centralized, this outage has temporarily knocked out internet, Wi-Fi, and printing services at all library locations. Access to library accounts is also impacted. There is no estimated time for restoration.
Library branches remain open for holds pickup, browsing, and checking out books. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience.

Storytime with AAC
Concord Library
Saturday, June 27 | 12:00-1:00pm
Build your child's communication skills through shared reading! Storytime with AAC aims to support families/caregivers of emergent communicators by demonstrating language using Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) systems, helping children develop a love of reading and building language through shared interaction and connection.
This event is intended for those who are learning to communicate using AAC systems. All ages and abilities are welcome.
This summer, "Plant a Seed, Read!" From June 1- August 1 sign up with Beanstack to track your reading or visit your local library to pick up a passport. Everyone who completes summer reading wins prizes, including a free book, and is entered in a drawing for a chance to win more amazing prizes.

We're recruiting for an Information Systems Programmer and Analyst II. We are looking for someone who:
-Is detail-oriented and has strong organizational and communication skills
-Has demonstrated history supporting a SQL database environment
-Has a strong understanding of data analysis and report building skills
-Is passionate about customer service, including technical support, issue resolution, and application enhancements
-Enjoys working in an open team environment with a high level of activity
-Has experience in enterprise software installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance
-Ideally, has experience with Integrated Library Systems (ILS) or Library Management Systems (LMS)
-Is a self-starter that can work with minimal supervision
