JME community, you are doing so much more for your students than you know!

Every dollar you have donated has gone directly into building a well rounded educational experience for JME students. Without you, these and so many other great activities would not be happening. So THANK YOU!

Missing some of your child's clothes? Tired of asking them where that jacket went? Looking for new-old clothes? The lost and found is out front of the cafeteria now!

Hurry, tomorrow is the last day to grab clothes before they are donated to families in need.

See that little bin in the lower right? That is the JME spiritwear donation bin!

Families are invited bring your no-longer-fitting-as-well JME gear and the will make sure they get to a student who they will fit!

Upcycle those clothes!

Students in every class at John Muir Elementary were able to take one field trip this year because of a 2025 MRC grant that funds bus transportation.

Most recently the 1st graders visited the Regional Shoreline, where they learned about the habitat and adaptations of the plants and animals that live there. That same day, 2nd graders also visited the Academy of Sciences.

We would like to thank for making field trips possible for all the students in our school!

Calling all 5th grade families, transferring/moving families, and families with kids who have out grown their JME gear (and any unwanted adult gear as well)!!!

The JME PTA will accept any donations/drop offs of school gear until the end of the school year. These items will be sorted and then given back to those in need within the JME community at the beginning of next year.

Items can be dropped off in the collection box in the office, until 6/4/26.

Keep your eyes peeled for a JME gear, backpack and Halloween costume swap early next school year.

TODAY IS THE DAY! Join the fun with a community Carnival at Las Juntas Elementary! Free games, live music, lots of fun!
