What does chronic pain really look like today? To find out, Confluent Health launched The Pain Perspective, a new research initiative designed to better understand how chronic pain affects people's lives, access to care, and recovery journeys.

Based on insights from more than 1,200 patients, the report explores the physical, emotional, and financial realities of living with chronic pain and highlights opportunities to improve care.

Here are a few key findings:
➡️ 85% are currently living with chronic pain
➡️ 82% say pain limits daily activities
➡️ 65% report mental health challenges related to pain
➡️ 47% have avoided care because of cost
➡️ 90% would recommend physical therapy

It's clear: chronic pain affects far more than the body, but effective, evidence-based care can help. If pain is limiting your life, know that you have options. Physical therapy can help you move better, feel stronger, and get back to the activities that matter most.

One of the best things about Health In Motion is getting to experience what makes each community special. Next up in our Community Spotlight series: Marshfield.

For many of our Marshfield team members, this isn't just where they work. It's where they live, raise their families, volunteer, attend events, and spend time with friends and neighbors.

Being part of the community means more than providing physical therapy. It means showing up, getting involved, and supporting the people and organizations that make Marshfield such a great place to call home.

We're proud to be part of the Marshfield community, both inside and outside the clinic. MACCI

Please join us in welcoming Eve Akey, DPT, to the Health In Motion team!

Eve recently earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the University of Wisconsin–Madison and is excited to begin her career helping patients move better, feel stronger, and get back to the activities they love.

She has a special interest in working with individuals with neurologic conditions and those undergoing amputee rehabilitation. Outside of the clinic, Eve enjoys spending time outdoors, being with family and friends, playing card and board games, going to the gym, attending church, and spending time with her golden retrievers.

You'll find Eve caring for patients at our Wausau clinic. Be sure to give her a warm Health In Motion welcome! 💚

One of the best things about Health In Motion is getting to experience what makes each community we serve special. First up in our community spotlight series: Tomahawk.

There always seems to be something happening, whether it's a parade, run, ballgame, or community gathering. It's one of the many reasons we love being part of the Tomahawk community.

There's a good chance we'll see familiar faces long after physical therapy ends, out supporting local events, cheering from the sidelines, or enjoying everything Tomahawk has to offer.

We're grateful to be part of a community that shows up, gets involved, and makes this town such a great place to live! We're grateful to be part of a community that shows up, gets involved, and makes this town such a great place to live!
