What a great program to launch you towards being a teacher!

As the interest in becoming an educator is decreasing across our state, Educators Rising clubs and programs are continuing to show our future generations of teachers the WHY becoming a teacher is fun, and necessary. These numbers speak for themselves. Our future generations of students deserve well-trained, engaged students.

Day 4 at Nationals in Washington D.C.:
✅ Awards Ceremony with over 3,300 contestants.

✅ Break out sessions

✅ Headed home to MO

It’s been an amazing trip. We’ve learned so many new things, met so many people, and saw some amazing sights. Goodby, D.C.! Thanks for hosting us!!!

Day 3 at Nationals in D.C.:

✅ Maize took her book to D.C. to compete against other state contenders today. (Place to be announced TOMORROW) 🤞

✅ Sessions on:
Emerging Leaders
Social Justice in Education

✅ Visited the National Mall monuments & memorials.

✅ Smithsonian History of America Museum.

✅ Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History.

Day 2 in D.C.

✅ Mickael competed in impromptu. (Awards to be announced Monday).

✅ Students took the mathematics Praxis.

✅ Breakout sessions to learn about public speaking, interviewing with school districts, and overcoming initial failures.

✅ Spoke with college reps from all around the nation.

✅ Toured the Library of Congress

✅ Brought home national trophy for “Most Dramatic Lip-syncing”

Day 1 in D.C.
Opening ceremonies, with Teacher of the year for key-note speaker. ✅

Toured the White House ✅
Toured the US Capitol ✅
Met a congressman ✅
