Swan Song Inn

With heavy heart we are sharing that Mr. has passed away. He lived a full life. King of his domain. We are grateful to hear the new owners of his home will be laying him to rest next to Lola under the tree by their nesting area.

A final farewell was said as I packed the last of the boxes into the truck. . Mr. came up to say goodbye and a visit from one of my resident turtles Lumpy came by as well. Stumpy the three legged box turtle didn’t show up to the party.
Bitter sweetness but I know the new owners of the estate will care for Mr for his senior years.

Since we are moving away we laid Mrs. Lola’s ashes to rest in a grave under her nesting area.
Hopefully the new owners of the property will, when the time comes, lay Mr. next to her. I said a few words from the memories of her. She touched so many people hearts and photobombed so many weddings . Her memory will last a lifetime .

Hello friends.
Your InnKeepers have decided to retire from InnKeeping !
We want to travel the world and go to all the places where our guests have come from and explore. So we have sold the property and magic that is Swan Song Inn to a new family that will use this beautiful estate for their family.
We will miss seeing all of our regular guests and also miss meeting all the friends we haven’t yet met .
We want to thank everyone who chose to stay with us for these past 7 years. We have been blessed with the opportunity to get to share space with you all. For those who started their married lives here we thank you for trusting us with your special day!

Oh how I will miss thee! The annual luxury of cantaloupe from Black Dog Farm! The season has ended and I am sad . The lucky guests this morning are getting last one I can get.

When repeat guests become friends, the world is a better place! This couple started their lives together here a few years ago and came back this week to relax.
