❤️🔥✝️Did you know there is a film about the Sacred Heart of Jesus? Experience the story of St. Margaret Mary Alacoque, the devotion that transformed generations, and the message of the Sacred Heart of Jesus brought to life on the big screen in theaters June 9, 11 & 14 (English) and June 10 (Spanish). This is the same week that we celebrate the Solemnity of the Sacred Heart and the U.S. bishops will consecrate the United States to the Sacred Heart of Jesus. As well, Archbishop Checchio will consecrate the Archdiocese of New Orleans to the Sacred Heart of Jesus that weekend.
📣In light of this, Fr. Stephen is *rescheduling* his planned reflection on the Sacred Heart of Jesus from June 9th to allow parishioners who are interested the opportunity to attend the 7PM screening on that date at the Westbank AMC theater. (There are currently only 15 seats remaining in the rear of the theater and 22 in the front, as of this post.) Over two dozen parishioners have already purchased seats.
If you cannot attend the June 9th screening, you can find additional showtimes and reserve your seats by visiting SacredHeartFilm.us
🙏A “Cinema Novena” begins tomorrow June 1st leading up to the release of the film on June 9th. Follow along at SacredHeartFilm.us
