Intuitive eating on vacation is about enjoying yourself without making food stressful. Some days might look more balanced than others, and that’s okay. Vacation is meant for memories, flexibility, and enjoying the foods you love.
Sometimes balance looks like a nourishing meal, and sometimes it looks like dessert by the beach with people you love.

Meal ideas that help keep you full longer 🍽️✨
If you’re always feeling hungry shortly after eating, your meals may need more protein, fiber, and healthy fats.
Some balanced meal ideas:
🥚 Eggs + avocado toast + fruit
🥗 Grilled chicken salad with nuts and veggies
🌯 Turkey wrap with hummus and veggies
🥣 Greek yogurt with berries and granola
🍚 Rice bowl with protein, veggies, and avocado
🍎 Apple slices with peanut butter
Healthy eating isn’t about eating less, it’s about eating in a way that helps your body feel supported and satisfied. 🤍

Real progress doesn’t come from perfection.
It comes from consistency.
One meal doesn’t define your health.
One skipped workout doesn’t erase your progress.
One hard day doesn’t mean you failed.
Healthy habits are built in the small choices you keep coming back to, even after setbacks.
Progress is not “all or nothing.”
It’s learning how to keep going without needing everything to be perfect.

It can be easy to feel guilty for slowing down, but rest and recovery are essential for both physical and mental well-being. Taking time to pause can help improve focus, reduce stress, support emotional health, and restore energy.

Take the vacation.
Sleep in sometimes.
Healthy living isn’t about saying “no” to everything you enjoy, it’s about finding balance that feels sustainable. A healthy lifestyle should fit INTO your life, not take you away from it. 🤍

Motivation comes and goes. Consistency is what creates lasting change. On the days you feel motivated, healthy habits may feel easy. But real progress often happens on the ordinary days when you are tired, busy, stressed, or simply not feeling inspired.
You do not have to do everything perfectly to move forward. Small steps and repeated consistently can lead to meaningful change over time.

This recent trip was full of simple ways to stay active:
🚲 Biking through the neighborhood by the hotel
🥾 A 1.5 mile hike on an Indian reservation to a beautiful waterfall
🌵 A 5 mile hike through Joshua Tree National Park
We also kept it simple with snacks packed ahead of time: almonds, pretzels, grapes, and lots of water.
Healthy habits don’t have to stop while traveling, in fact finding ways to move your body while enjoying the experience can make it even more enjoyable!
