🐝Our first graders had an amazing adventure at the Building for Kids Children's Museum at the end of April! During their visit, students participated in hands-on experiments where they explored and learned about the three states of matter—solids, liquids, and gases. After their science activities, they spent the rest of the day discovering the museum’s many interactive exhibits. Through exploratory and play-based learning, students were able to spark their curiosity, build creativity, and deepen their understanding of the world around them. It was a fun and educational experience for everyone!

🏫🐝 We are excited to welcome our new Elementary School Principal, Mrs. Angela Propson!

Mrs. Propson brings a passion for education and a commitment to student success, and we are thrilled to have her join the Markesan School District. We look forward to the leadership, energy, and experiences she will bring to our elementary school.

🐝 At the end of the school year, we took time to celebrate our amazing and dedicated staff members. We honored those who are retiring and recognized staff for their years of service and commitment to the Markesan School District.

Their hard work, passion, and dedication have made a lasting impact on countless students, families, and colleagues over the years. Thank you for everything you do to make our schools a great place to learn and grow.

Congratulations to our retirees, and thank you to all of our staff members for your continued commitment to Hornet Nation!

🐝 Our 7th graders had an unforgettable time at camp this year!

Campers were divided into Survivor-style tribes and completed different tasks! Spent time building skills in archery, enjoying outdoor adventures, and gathering around the campfire - students made memories that will last a lifetime.

Thank you to everyone who helped make this experience possible. What a great opportunity for our Hornets to learn, grow, and have fun together!
