Meet amazing LIVE animals, learn fascinating facts, and experience an up-close encounter with creatures from around the world. This interactive family program is sure to delight animal lovers of all ages.

Hit up our mammoth Lego collection to build creations big & small. Then we'll put them on display for all to ooooo & ahhhhhhh over. It's for ages 4+, with no sign-up necessary. We'll see you 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday in the Children's Activity Room.

We're closing Friday for Juneteenth, so be sure you pick up your books, activity kits, movies, & anything else for the holiday. We'll reopen on Saturday. If you can't make it today, you can try our digital services through Hoopla, Libby, & Tumblebooks.

7th-12th-graders need unstructured time to do stuff or just hang out. MPL's Teen Lounge has plenty to do - videogames, movies, board games & card games, art supplies. Plus snacks. Open hours are 3:30-6:30 p.m. Thursdays. Join us.

Here's your chance to try sign language. The classes, presented by the Services for Visually and Hearing Impaired, will be 10-11 a.m. Monday-Thursday next week. Attend as many as work for you. Sign up on our calendar.

Did you know that MPL carries magazines, & you can check them out just like books? We have titles on fashion, home design, how-to, news, escapist, music, and more on the second floor. We also carry titles in children's - whenever we librarians need a smile, we flip through the adorable critters in Ranger Rick Jr. Instant happiness.🥰🥰🥰 FYI: Libby also has digital versions magazines. Regardless of format, reading magazines counts for Summer Reading goals.

Dog-gone it! We had to cancel Paws to Read because of the threatening weather. Probably for the best - the dogs probably don't want to mess with storms, either. Stay safe.
