Congratulations to Jeremy Moore and James McKinnie on their ordinations by the Global Methodist Church yesterday!

Jeremy was ordained an Elder. He serves as the spiritual coordinator at the mission and as pastor of Sunnycrest Community Church.

James was ordained a Deacon. As a graduate of our Life Change Program, he is a living witness of the power of God, the mercy of God, and the love of God, to make dead men live. He is currently a board member at the mission.

“Long my imprisoned spirit lay, fast bound in sin and nature‘s night, my eyes diffused a quickening ray, I rose the dungeon flamed with light. My chains fell off, My heart was free, I rose, went forth and followed thee, amazing love, how can it be that thou my God should die for me”

💙 Serving with Purpose 💙

We are so thankful for the incredible youth and leaders from the Southwest District Church of the Nazarene who spent time volunteering at the Grant County Rescue Mission!

These amazing students rolled up their sleeves and got to work sorting, organizing, and stocking food donations that help us serve individuals and families throughout our community. Their hard work and servant hearts helped ensure that food is ready to reach those who need it most.

Not only did they accomplish a tremendous amount of work, but they also brought encouragement, energy, and joy to our team. It is inspiring to see young people living out their faith by serving others and making a real difference in the lives of those around them.

Thank you for your willingness to serve and for being the hands and feet of Jesus. Your efforts will have a lasting impact on countless lives here in Grant County.

"For even the Son of Man came not to be served, but to serve." — Mark 10:45

We are grateful for each volunteer and the blessing you have been to our ministry! ❤️
