MAC retreat 2021! We’re excited about empowering our arts community to accelerate communication and Placemaking in Marion!

MEET THE BOARD! Eric Marshall is the treasurer of CMAC, and founder of Clique Creative, his Photography LLC. Eric has been on the board of multiple organizations to help revitalize downtown, maintaining an intentional involvement in Marion for years. Along with his Photography business, Eric buys and renovates properties, improving the quality of spaces and homes in Marion. He loves capturing people, places, and things through photographs, but says that his “favorite photograph is always the one I haven’t shot yet.”

The magic in art is creating, making presence in the midst of absence. How might we bring more presence to communities through art?

MEET THE BOARD! Don Artamas is a commissioner for MAC. Don creates modern abstract works of art and sculptures. He hopes to contribute to changing the visual identity of Marion through making public art. He believes that arts and culture plays a key role in enhancing the image of the City of Marion. He says that art allows humanity to not just survive, but thrive. Through the Marion Arts Commission, Don hopes to create more energy and attention to the arts and empower local artists.
