DREAM family, we are truly humbled by the love you have shown our sweet Boscoe. 💛

The comments, messages, prayers, and healing thoughts have meant more than you know. We truly believe Boscoe feels all the love being sent his way.

Yesterday was another big day for this little fighter. Boscoe received an ultrasound, blood transfusion, continued IV fluids to keep him hydrated, and a feeding tube to help him get the nutrition his body needs while he heals.

And then late last night… the update we had all been hoping for.

Boscoe ate and drank on his own. 🥹💛 Cue the happy tears.

His vitals and bloodwork are showing improvement from Monday, and while we know he still has healing to do, this boy continues to remind us why we never give up on them.

Hi friends 💛 We are asking you to send some extra love and healing thoughts to our sweet Boscoe today.

Over the weekend, Boscoe began experiencing severe GI distress and his foster mom knew he needed help fast. She rushed him to VEG, where his veterinary team has been working hard to figure out exactly what is going on.

The good news is his vitals, bloodwork, and x-rays have all looked good. Right now, we are treating him for HGE and giving him the supportive care his body needs.

Through all of this, he is still showing interest in food, drinking, and leaning in for all the love and pets. He is telling us he isn’t giving up, so neither are we. 💛

His foster mom was right by his side last night as they placed a feeding tube to help him regain strength while he receives a blood transfusion. The next several hours are critical for our sweet boy, and we know he could use all the positive thoughts, prayers, and good vibes you can send his way.

This is rescue. The happy updates, the celebrations, and sometimes the scary moments in between. We are grateful to have a community who loves these dogs right along with us.

We are hoping for good news soon and promise to share updates as we have them.

Meet Aussie 💛🐾

Aussie may have short legs, but this 14-month-old Australian Shepherd/Dachshund mix came with a big personality and an even bigger brain.

This handsome little guy is playful, affectionate, and loves being wherever his people are. He enjoys walks, car rides, lap time, and showing off just how quickly he learns. Aussie already knows some commands, walks beautifully on a leash, and is always looking to his person for what comes next.

True to his Aussie side, he is curious, smart, and has those herding instincts so he’s looking for someone who can keep his mind busy and spend time helping him become his best self.

Aussie is housetrained, crate trained (especially when treats are involved 😉), and ready for his next adventure.

If you’re looking for a fun, loyal little shadow with plenty of love to give, Aussie might be your guy. 💛

Sweet beginnings for Willie Wonka… now Guinness 💛🐾

This handsome boy found his way to DREAM when his previous owner was no longer able to provide the care he needed. Thankfully, it didn’t take long for Guinness to charm his way right into the arms of his new momma.

He’s officially home and ready for his next adventure.
