I don’t know about you, but I just want to snuggle up in bed all day after the whirlwind of Christmas. It was wonderful and filled with so much joy, but I’m exhausted. Welcome to being an adult 😂

I may not have finished the murphy bed project but I did manage to paint the dining room. I LOVE how it turned out. So moody and warm. A very different vibe from the other bright and airy rooms of my house. Definitely giving old music room vibes 🎵 What do you think, are you embracing the warmer red tones that are coming back into trend?

So happy to have family stay with us for Christmas. I always overextend myself with decorating and house projects and this custom was no exception. I got the whole cabinet built but just kept putting off caulking (it’s my least favorite part of painting). So 3 days before company was arriving I decided to start caulking and painting. 🥴 obviously I ran out of time in the midst of a client install, a child with a fever, and prepping for hosting. I do it to myself, don’t feel bad for me 😂 But, even if the painting isn’t done, it still looks pretty good. The perfect spot for my daughter to sneak in and wake my parents up on Christmas morning, he favorite tradition 🥰
