That's a wrap on Waymark Summer Camps 2026! 🌊💙

What an incredible week! We have so many stories to share and so many moments to celebrate, but today we simply want to say thank you.

Thank you, God, for all You did this week. Thank you to every volunteer, Big Camper, donor, prayer partner, and behind-the-scenes supporter who made camp possible.

Because of your generosity and willingness to serve, children and teens experienced joy, belonging, hope, and the love of Christ. Lives were impacted, memories were made, and seeds were planted that will last far beyond this week.

We could not do it without you!

Wow! This week has flown by. We can hardly believe it is already the last day of camp!

Over the past week, we have had the privilege of building relationships, making memories, and pouring into each and every camper. Watching these children and teens experience connection, belonging, and encouragement has been such a gift.

As camp comes to a close, we would ask for your prayers as campers return to their foster and adoptive homes, pray that they would hold on to the truths they learned this week and that they would stay connected through Waymark's year-round programs.

This is why mentorship matters so much. Camp lasts for one week, but mentors have the opportunity to walk alongside youth throughout the year, providing the consistent support and encouragement that can change a life.

Tuesday night, we celebrated Everybody's Birthday Party! 🎉

This is one of the most meaningful traditions at camp each year. We want every child to know that they are worth celebrating and that the day God brought them into the world is a special one.

For many of the children we serve, birthdays can be overlooked amid the challenges and instability they have experienced. That is why this night is so important. It is an opportunity to create joyful memories, celebrate each child individually, and remind them that they are seen, valued, and deeply loved.

This year's theme was Star Wars, and the evening was filled with lightsaber duels, costumes, sweet treats, gifts, laughter, and plenty of fun!

A huge thank you to everyone who donated, volunteered, and helped make this event possible. The smiles on these campers' faces are a direct result of your generosity and support. Moments like these become treasured memories, and we are so grateful for the role you play in making them happen!

Here are a few snapshots from our Princess Ball on Monday night! 👑✨

This is always one of the most special events of the week! It is a chance for the girls at camp to get dressed up, feel celebrated, and be reminded of how precious they are.

At Waymark, we want every girl to know that her value comes from far more than her appearance. She is beautifully and intentionally created by God, gifted with unique strengths, talents, and a spirit that reflects His love.

One of our favorite moments from this year's Princess Ball was watching our teen girl campers help the younger girls get ready for the evening. From fixing hair to sharing encouragement and excitement, it was a beautiful picture of community, belonging, and leadership!

We are officially on Day 3 of camp, and we are off to a great start!

So far, the week has been filled with fun activities, great meals, lots of laughter, meaningful conversations, and unforgettable memories. Most importantly, our campers have been spending time learning truth from God's Word and being reminded that they are known, valued, loved, and never alone.

Thank you for your continued prayers for our campers, volunteers, and staff as we head into the second half of the week. Please also pray for good weather so that everyone can fully enjoy all of the exciting activities camp has to offer!
