It’s about preventing unsupervised access to the pool in the first place.
According to the CDC, drowning is the leading cause of death for children ages 1–4 in the United States.
That’s why we encourage homeowners to think in layers when it comes to pool safety. Fences, self-closing gates, supervision, swim lessons, and safety technology all play an important role.

While we may finally be seeing some clear skies today, the recent downpours we’ve had over the past few days can still impact your pool water more than you might think.
A good rule of thumb is to always test your pool water after heavy rain to make sure your chemistry is still properly balanced!
Heavy rain can dilute chemicals and introduce extra contaminants into the water, which may lead to cloudy water, algae, and other issues if left unchecked. Staying ahead of it now can help prevent bigger headaches later. 😉
