Small animals raiding and damaging your feeders?? Protection for both deer and bird feeders. Keep em on the ground!

Had a gentleman out of Ohio contact me asking for a solution to raccoons getting up to his Banks 300 gravity feeder mounted on a 4x4 post. He has tried a few things including spike strips and bird spikes and none seem to stop them. Currently has a 10 or 12" drain pipe with a baffle on top, pictured below, and they still are climbing up... told him Im sure I have a solution I could come up with, so I made a custom set for him this week.
The tpost version I make of these keep hogs from standing against the tpost to reach the feed blocks and keeps raccoons from climbing. Given how effective they are on tposts and bird feeders, I am pretty confident this larger variation will work on a 4x4 post.
These will fit right up to base of the feeder and behind the feed port necks on a 4x4 post. Material is outdoor rated and UV resistant, will last many years and easy to install.
Looking forward to his feedback once he gets an opportunity to slap them on. Its all about helping others out.
Shipped out today.

I have to custom make these, so if anyone is also interested, shoot me a request. I sell them through my Shopify site.
25 plus shipping (which is usually around 15 bucks).

Sitting in the stand this weekend watching the squirrels.. knowing there is no worry whatsoever that they can climb up... its a beautiful thing. All they can get are the snacks on the ground.

Have a lot of people saying, just put PVC on the legs.
Well, I tested with PVC and found out it failed every time with keeping squirrels from gaining access. Perhaps squirrels are not an issue if you have a metal drum, however; If you have a plastic drum or your spinner / spinner housing is plastic, or you have cables running up to your solar, they WILL chew it and damage it.
The set pictured here, with PVC tubes and PVC end caps, started out plain bare white, squirrels got past, I tried painting with a gloss thinking that would help, squirrels got past, even wet sanded the tubes and squirrels still got past.
I attributed it to the material property of PVC. PVC, for some reason, provided enough grip for the squirrels to climb past.
It wasn't until I switched to HDPE tubes where they finally couldn't grip and get past.
If you want a permanent solution, that solves the problems of any small animals climbing your feeder legs, Spring Sliders is that solution. No need to add carpet tack strips, grease, vasoline or anything else... Ever.
Spring Sliders keep em on the ground year-round regardless of the weather.

One less invasive predator to worry about. She picked the wrong day to show up.

I'd say this is a pretty active spot.
