Design Time

It's been a good while my friends, but i'm coming back around. It's getting closer to time to set up shop again. I had the pleasure of picking up this large hutch top this morning. What would you repurpose it as if it was yours?

Time to get back in the saddle my friends. Soon! Coming soon! Giving the shop an overhaul. Currently not quoting but, keep your eyes open and your heads up. Stay strong my friends. Remember! Life can knock you down, but it can't take your faith, hope or your love. 👊

What's happening peeps?!?! I know the past year has been one heck of a rollercoaster ride, but i haven't forgotten ya. I myself have endured qite a bit, and my prayers go out to all.

Be sure to stay tuned for new projects, announcements and whatnots. Be sure to pray for others, do your best to be kind, and love all above everytrhing else. Cherish all the good memories of those gone.

Since the fun part of sanding and final assembly comes tomorrow along with starting to seal it, i should probably see if Amazon has extra arms in stock. 👊

And so we learn from our mistakes, and here is where the real beauty and magig begins. 🤠

Alrighty my fellow DIY peeps! Here's a helpful tip to keep in mind when sanding. Right now, i'm building myself a traditional farmhouse dining table. No, i won't give the rest away until i finish, but here's the rub.

When your sanding you want to open the grain. Opening the grian allows you see som of your not so smooth spots while actually raising the grain.

Give it a good once over between grits if desired, and you'll come up with better results. Take an old sponge, rag or whatever, and thrn soak the wood like you would as if you were wiping it down.

After that! Crack a cold one, grab you sander and get back to it until you get to your desired grit. 🤠✌
