Veterans In Need Project

For our friends that love to jump and need new knees, Happy National Airborne Day!!

Today was a great success story. We received a message from an 84 year old veteran in Maricopa at 8:14 this morning. His water heater was leaking in the garage and he didn’t know what to do. Thanks to Aj Robinson for his quick response to trouble shoot the problem. With his quick quote and estimate we reached out to American Legion Post 133, Maricopa AZ and Post 12043! The three organizations came together to help cover the cost of the replacement and labor for this veteran and it all took less than three hours!!! This is what support and teamwork really look like. Thank you to all involved in making this happen today.

Thank you to our donors and supporters!! In July we received $450 in donations and proceeds from birthday fundraisers. You are all truly amazing and we appreciate our support of the veterans community and our mission.

To simplify and assist the increased amount of support requests that we are receiving, we have implemented a new online form to request assistance. It is easily found on our website and will streamline our process. Thank you to everyone for your support.

What an amazing and record breaking July we had. 23 veterans supported, $7,257.30 spent on direct grants, $315.53 average per veteran! So yeah, we love what we do, but watch for another fundraiser soon as the demand is more than ever and we have to work hard to keep up.

FRAGO: 26-27 School Year
Tomorrow is back to school for many of our local schools. Veterans-you know what time it is! Conduct thorough pre-back to school checks, full layouts of crayons, markers, colored pencils, new clothes and other necessary equipment as identified by the school and classroom SOP (Supply list). Ensure lunch accounts are optimized or the MRE's are on hand and ready for quick dissemination in the morning. Time check all alarm clocks to ensure all personnel are awake and ready, there can be no tolerance for missing your morning SP via POV or Bus. Further PSC/PSI (Pre-School Checks/Inspections) shall be conducted by local household commands. Good luck to you all and God speed!

We are half way through 2026, wow! So what have we been up too?
Direct financial support to 46 veterans with $11,478.11 spent. We have finished 27 weeks this year so that is $425.12 a week spent on direct veteran support. That is amazing, we cannot thank all of our donors and supporters enough. If it were not for all of you we would not be able to make a difference in so many lives. We look forward to providing more support in the second half of the year.
