want to challenge some of your ideas about what school should be... We’ve been taught that education means sitting still for 8 hours a day, taking standardized tests, and being told there’s only one "right" way to do things. And when we fail? We’re often punished for it.
But what if there wasn’t a “standard”? What if there was no such thing as “average”? (If you haven’t yet, check out The End of Average by Todd Rose—it’ll blow your mind!)
What if failure wasn’t something to fear, but the best way to learn and innovate? What if we celebrated failures, resiliency, and the ability to get back up and try again in new ways?
Take a look at this video and this amazing school doing education differently. Also, listen to our good friend Kerry McDonald as she shares what she’s learned along the way.

🌊 Calling all young ocean explorers! 🌊
Join us for our final shark science expedition of the season with the University of Miami team in Key Biscayne on Thursday, August 29th! 🦈 We believe every kid should have the chance to learn about these majestic creatures and discover the truth beyond the headlines.
Did you know that over 100 million sharks are killed each year by humans? That’s about 274,000 sharks per day or three sharks every second! Despite the scary headlines, the average number of human fatalities from shark attacks in the U.S. is only one every two years. There's no need to be afraid—just an opportunity to learn, explore, and protect. 🌍
Students can use their PEP funding to join us on this unforgettable adventure. Parents are welcome but not required. Please note that every participant must secure a spot.
Don’t miss this chance to dive into the world of shark science—sign up now and be part of something truly amazing! 🦈🔬
