🏃‍♀️🦁 The Marcellus Free Library Couch to 5K Team is excited to participate in this year's Zoo Run Run in support of the Rosamond Gifford Zoo

What started as a group of community members working toward a fitness goal has become an opportunity to support an organization that provides exceptional animal care, advances conservation efforts, and inspires future generations through education.

As we train and prepare for race day, we're also raising funds to help the Zoo continue its important mission in Central New York and beyond. Every donation makes a difference!

Congratulations to our Couch to 5K group for completing the six-week program! 🎉🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

Today we ran 5-minute intervals with 1-minute walk breaks—and powered through every single one. Even with the on-and-off rain, this dedicated group showed up and didn’t let it slow them down.

A special shoutout to the Olde Home Days vendors who cheered us on along the way—what a great boost!

So proud of this group and all the hard work they’ve put in! 💪

Great run this morning with our Couch to 5K group and Miss Sophia! 🏃🏻‍♀️They showed themselves they can go longer and farther than they thought—way to go!

Mamas 💛 Take a moment just for you at our Mom Moment Station, available all week in the library café. Help yourself to complimentary tea, chocolate, and a little extra care with self-care affirmations. You’ll also find bookmarks to take, plus stationery, pens, and washi tape with a special writing prompt to inspire letters to your child(ren) to open in the future. Pause, reflect, and create something meaningful—we hope you’ll stop by. ✉️✨
