Happy San Jacinto Day!

On this day 188 years ago, 800 courageous Texans fought for their freedom at the Battle of San Jacinto.

Now, Texas is the GREATEST state in America—and it will continue to be for generations to come.

December 7th, 1941, a day that will live in infamy...Thank you to all of our service people! Army, Navy, Airforce, Marines, Coast Guard for all of your service. We will not forget the sacrifices of the those that serve and have served.

Wild Fire Danger

With Central Texas facing an extremely dry summer, we need to be prepared and have a plan if a wildfire event occurs. There are many ways a property owner can reduce the hazards of a wildfire around or near a home, farm, or ranch.
Be sure to cut and/or remove all brush or fuel near the home or structures. Make sure to mow or cut the grass. To prevent a greater loss, the further from your home you can create a fire barrier the better off you will be.
To help ensure your valuable items are covered, please take photos and document your belongings. We have had insureds in the past who would put their valuables into large plastic tubs and place the tubs in an area that is easily accessible to load if there was a fire near their area.

If a wild fire occurs in your area you may only have a few minutes to evacuate. Plan your evacuation route well in advance. Make a plan and practice your plan or discuss it with your loved ones.
Your insurance will cover your home and your belongings, and in our opinion there is nothing in your home worth dying for.
Remember to take your pets!
If you are told to evacuate, do not wait. Go IMMEDIATELY!

After the hail events in our area in the past few weeks, get someone you trust to check your roof for damage. If they find hail damage contact your agent. Always make notes on your calendar when there is bad weather (hail, high wind, etc) so you can remember dates
