As May comes to a close, we’re reflecting with gratitude on National Nurses Week, National Hospital Week, and National Skilled Nursing Care Week — and giving one final round of applause to the healthcare professionals who show up every day to care for our communities in so many meaningful ways. 👏🩺

What better way to wrap up a month of celebration than by sharing our May success story: "More Than a Dream: Veronica Eriksen’s Story".

Veronica’s journey from nurse aide to registered nurse is a powerful reminder of what is possible when perseverance meets the right support. Her story also shows exactly why Workforce Network created PREP, our Pre-Nursing Preparation, Education and Readiness Program!

Stories like Veronica’s remind us that the path to nursing can come with real challenges — but those challenges do not have to become roadblocks. Read Veronica’s full story below. ⬇️ And if you're as inspired as WE ARE, please share!

🎉 CONGRATULATIONS to our newest Level 2 Plumbing graduates who earned their Residential Certification! 🔧

These students have worked hard to build a strong foundation for their futures — balancing full-time work as plumbing apprentices while showing up for rigorous night classes. That kind of commitment takes grit, determination, and a real belief in what’s possible.

We also want to give a very special shoutout to our plumbing instructor, Tim Kinsey! This was Tim’s first year instructing with Workforce Network, and he went above and beyond for our students — including making the commute all the way from Buda to Marble Falls. Tim is patient, kind, and deeply committed to helping students learn, grow, and succeed. Thank you, Tim, for sharing your knowledge, your time, and your heart with Workforce Network.

And to our graduates — we are so proud of you! You are building skills, building careers, and building futures one step at a time. 👏🔧

✨ DID YOU KNOW? ✨

At WNI, workforce development starts long before graduation. 💙
