In Conversation With Frank Schaeffer: How Did We Get This Lost
Check out my latest conversation with Frank Schaeffer where we ponder how we lost our moral compass.
Check it out at Apple Podcasts, Spotify, and YouTube.
And check out Gaslighting for God: A Satirical Guide to Save Yourself from Spiritual Narcissists, now out in audiobook! The narrator Val did a not only did a kick ass job narrating the sucker but she also posted a lovely review of this book. And she's also into wine as well. After you read her review, check out her substack and subscribe.

"How to Pitch Media Without a Dedicated PR Budget" - summary kick ass panel presented at the NW Cider Symposium featuring Ramsey Cox/Ramsey Cox Media Relations + Public affairs and Lyndsay Dyk ...
Delighted to participate in 's "WA Wine Expedition" a gathering of 85 WA State wineries pouring for media/industry. In particular, loved the convo with Sha and JJ about the developments in exploring WA wine from a sense of place - in a wine world increasingly driven by an influencer culture, delighted to get really grounded. (WA State may be the #2 wine producer in the US but over 90 percent of their wineries are in the boutique category.) Yes, I did take one sip from each winery (including two cideries) and delighted in particular in reconnecting with those wineries whose wine I've covered for .mag ...
Left with a number of ideas focusing on how wine can create grassroots community and the growing push for sustainability initiatives.

Conducting article research for an article on The Rocks District for the Sept/Oct 2026 issue. This media/VIP event was designed to herald the inaugural release of R/A Wines' 2023 JDA Project Syrah.
Winemaker's notes ...
JDA Project is shaped in my mind by the great Syrah regions of the world and grown here in The Rocks District of the Walla Walla Valley. Created with intention, this wine has purity of fruit, elegance, beauty, and sharp focus. The structure is layered with blue fruits, minerality, white pepper, and seared meats. It's powerful and graceful, with seductive notes of fresh white flowers. A wine that achieves mountainside power alongside the juiciness and purity of a Rocks District Syrah. -Matt Reynvaan
