Today the boys are checking out a very odd rambler in Mount Vernon

And today's never seen that before is an inspection on a house where they are replacing the "community" septic tank and connecting the neighborhood to sewer. The house I am inspections is the last one to be hooked up so it still features the open ditch and old septic tank lines. Masks can do more than help defeat a virus :-)

Tip for today. Do not use a tree stump as part of the foundation. When the stump rots there will be a problem.
I have been doing inspections for 27 years and I see something I have never seen before almost every day.

And today we have a series of holes, uniform size and at consistent intervals drilled in to the gutters.
