Pictures keep coming in from the great work last week.
These are from the brave volunteers that battled the brambles at the Shadow Lake Preserve and Bog to create a new picnic area.
Thank you everyone.

At the Historical Society, a 2 year wish was finally granted. With the help of local families and members of the New Community Church, removal of rocks and spreading of 15 yards of bark made a huge impact.

It wonderful to see the great work that was done around our community on Saturday. The photos keep trickling in.
Here are some from The Vine Maple Place where they rebuilt a picket fence and reseeded the lawn with the assistance of the Cedar River Ward of the church of Latter Day Saints and the students from Tahoma's DECA club.

The weather gods were on our side today πŸ‘πŸ»
At a wonderful breakfast hosted by Maple Valley Rotary, we had a special Proclamation reading from the Maple Valley’s Ciry Council
We were able to place volunteers at all 12 of our grant projects πŸ‘πŸ».
So far we count 210 volunteers participating in today’s event.
Thank you to everyone who came. 😊

If you helped out and took pictures, please post them here or tag us.

Good Day Maple Valley.
Thank you to those who have contacted me to sign up for projects. We appreciate you. 😍

That said, we still have many projects that need assistance.
Rain or shine this event goes on, and so do the leaders of our community organizations.

We desperately need still need help at the Shadow Lake Bog.

I need 8 more adults or young adults to help remove invasive species. Gloves will be provided.

I want to pre-assigned volunteers for this one.
Other projects can still be a drop-in system.

Thanks for listening.
