IEP or 504 Meeting - What can you expect and how can you prepare for it? I had no clue what to expect at our first 504 meeting, so I have put together a few suggestion to help you be prepared. Biggest tip - 👉Be sure to have your partner, grandparent, or trusted friend attend the meeting with you! This person can take notes or be a great source for helping your recall what was discussed. Consider consulting with your child’s teachers, finding out if others in the family are dyslexic, talking with your family physician or having your child evaluated by a neuropsychologist.
