The Maple Shade Train Station Commission is here to keep our historic train station a cultural and communal asset to Maple Shade. My Name is David J. Smith.

We strive to offer an educational and welcoming environment that connects the community with the rich history of rail travel. I am an Eagle Scout Candidate from Troop 28 in Maple Shade NJ. As most people know I am doing my Eagle Project at the Maple Shade Train Station. The project is rebuilding the platform. Huge thank you to Maple Shade Boy Scout Troop 28 for helping us finish up our platform maintenance! They did an amazing job painting, weeding and removing trash! Also another huge thank you to the very kind Lady who provided us with water! When the community comes together, we can achieve great things!

Some great progress so far! Tops of the railing painted with new post tops. First round of cleaning the deck is complete! Tomorrow we paint the rest and second round of cleaning starts this week! Stay tuned for more projects!
