Zoo on Monday for the school age and Pre K classes. Please pack your kids a lunch and dress them for the weather. Hand them at the center by 8:30AM

1st Step will resume normal operations on tomorrow, Tuesday, December 15, 2020

1st Step will reopen on June 1st. Unfortunately, we must open with much smaller group sizes. This means there will be strict guidelines in place until things become more normal. I will post guidelines next week. I will also reach out to families next week so if you have a new phone number, please inbox it.

The governor has just announced that he still has no date for the reopening of childcare centers. I know this is a hardship for some of you, but it is honestly what is best. Children are often asymptomatic carriers of illnesses and unfortunately they know nothing about social distancing. Children are just a hard population to regulate, that's why in person school was canceled. I'm keeping a very close eye on the situation and as soon as we get the word, we will be ready to receive your little ones. I am also working on new sick policies to address our new way of living. I wish everyone the best and hopefully we will see you soon.

Ohio’s restaurants, hair salons and daycares are not reopening at this time. Governor DeWine says they have to start by reopening businesses that have less risk or more controllable risk.
