Chalkfest has arrived. The artists are starting to arrive in town and we can't wait for tomorrow! Here are a few tidbits to help you navigate the chalkfest

HOURS: Sat and Sun 10-6pm
Monday viewing day till 7. (no artists or vendors setup)

Kidz zone and Mandala: Opportunity for the public to join in

Food Trucks and Vendors will be on south end and in Town Green park

PETS: For the safety and enjoyment of all guests, artists, and volunteers, only certified service dogs are permitted during festival hours.

This helps protect artwork, maintain safe movement in busy areas, and ensure a comfortable experience for everyone.

PARKING: Free parking at the Government Center and also at the Ramp near the Library (not the surface Lot)

Chalkfest is a few short days away. Since our festival has moved a few blocks north to TOWN GREEN on Main Street (outside Maple Grove Government Center) we wanted to share a few picks of where the public parking will be.

Sunday artist Spotlight!!!!

Sara Nybo!

We are excited to welcome Sara to Maple Grove Chalkfest this year as a featured artist. She comes from Utah and creates magical creations wherever she goes.

Stop down Saturday June 13th or Sunday June 14th to watch her and others create. Festival hours are 10-6pm and there is also a viewing day all day monday (no artists present or vendors)

The Maple Grove Arts Center (MGAC) features a beautifully curated gallery that hosts seven themed exhibitions each year, each celebrated with a special opening night event. Our spacious facility also offers a dynamic range of arts education programs, with classes designed to inspire and support emerging, novice, and established artists alike.

MGAC is proud to extend its mission beyond the gallery through a variety of outreach programs. Each summer, we we present the Arbor Lakes Art Fair and Maple Grove Chalkfest. Our Business of Art initiative brings local artwork into area businesses, giving artists unique opportunities to showcase their work in individual settings. We also partner with District 279 to host the annual Student Art Show at the Maple Grove Government Center, where MGAC awards the Jacob Beneke Arts Scholarship to a graduating senior pursuing art in college.

Maple Grove Chalkfest is a little over a week away! We cant wait to welcome all of the amazing artists to town! Main street at Town Green is going to be transformed into an art gallery masterpiece!

Saturday June 13th and Sunday June 14th the artists will be creating their masterpieces live from 10-6pm and Monday, June 15th will be a viewing day (no vendors or artists working)
