For Throwback Thursday, we’re featuring an original Avallo brochure from 1999. Our Arthurian theme was alive and well then and it’s still going strong today.

Back in the early days, we were creating everything from animated CDs and websites to full product catalogs, trade show booths, logos, and print ads. It was a time of bold design, big ideas, and a whole lot of experimentation.

Many of the testimonials in this piece are from clients who have since retired, which makes it even more special to look back. Time really does fly when you’re building something you love.

Three decades later, we’re still creating, still evolving, and still having fun.

Before everything was digital, design was hands on.

I created layouts with markers and rulers on paper. Keylines were drawn by hand. Photography arrived as transparencies. Everything was assembled into film and sent to the printer, hoping nothing shifted along the way.

These visuals are from that time. They remind me how much care went into every decision because there was no quick fix or undo.
