⭐️BANQUET RECAP⭐️
An event so out of this world that we’re still reliving it a couple weeks later! We love having the opportunity at banquet each year to honor every single Competition & Pre-Comp. dancer and celebrate their accomplishments. Thank you to all of the volunteers who made this event possible and to Rush Creek Golf Club. A night to remember 🤩

It’s officially summer - LET’S DANCE! ☀️🕺🏼

Recital is for our littlest dreamers, hitting the stage for the first time. Recital is for the Dudes & Dads who finally get their moment on stage and it’s for the fun, the families in the audience & the growth that happens in a whole season, displayed for the world to witness. But most importantly, recital is the final bow for our Graduating Seniors and we work hard to make sure the show is a huge celebration for them.

Seniors, we love you SO much! You mean the world to us and you shine so very bright. You’ve led, endured, inspired, and succeeded - your TDC family is endlessly proud of you. We hope you remember that no matter what missions you undertake or what galaxies your next adventure takes you to, you can ALWAYS come home. Tonight is all for you. 👩🏼‍🎓👩🏻‍🎓👩🏾‍🎓👨🏻‍🎓🩵⭐️☄️🪐🥹

⭐️SENIOR SPOTLIGHT⭐️
Mason Johnson

We have had the absolute privilege of watching Mason grow from a little boy to a strong & confident adult. He is welcoming to everyone, diligent, dependable, playful, resilient and considerate. In his senior year, he has led both his team and the entire competition program while demonstrating remarkable tenacity and sincerity. This year Mason received his Decade Award & also our Leaving A Legacy Award. We are incredibly proud to have shared so many years with him and to have been part of this amazing journey alongside him. He will be missed SO much but we know he will always be part of TDC & his legacy will be long lasting. We love you, Mace-Mace!🩵

How many years have you been dancing?
I’ve been dancing for 14 years.

What’s your favorite TDC Memory?
When brody and I did our duet for the first time.

What will you miss the most about the studio?
I will miss joking around and hanging out with everyone at competitions.

What is your advice to the younger TDC dancers?
My advice is to Stop aiming for perfect. Aim for authentic. Real growth comes when you stop copying and start developing your own style.

Next year I will be going to Embry Riddle Daytona Beach to major in aerospace engineering.

At Banquet we had the honor of presenting Decade Awards to six incredibly loyal dancers. In only our 11th season, this is just our second year presenting these awards, making it even more meaningful to us. Watching these dancers grow up at TDC has been such a gift, and we are endlessly grateful that they continue to call TDC home. Congratulations to Calli, Olivia, Mason, Lakely, Hailey & Brody! ♥️

⭐️SENIOR SPOTLIGHT⭐️
Naomi Ndamagye

Naomi is new to the TDC family this year but quickly became known and loved by all of her teachers and teammates. She is determined, strong, thoughtful and a wonderful teammate. She stepped up to the plate this year taking in so many new challenges and experiences head-on and exceeded all of our expectations. We’re incredibly grateful to have shared her senior year with her and cannot wait to continue to cheer her on for years to come. 🩵

How many years have you been dancing?
I’ve been dancing for about 6 years

What’s your favorite TDC Memory?
I liked the NYCDA comp, it was my first convention and a good experience and opportunity for me to grow.

What will you miss the most about the studio?
I’ll miss the tap tech class and ballet classes.

What is your advice to the younger TDC dancers?
My advice would be to enjoy the process, it’s so easy to get stuck in the cycle of worrying about other people’s progress but that just distracts you from focusing on your own journey as a dancer.

What are your plans for next year?
I plan on pursuing BioMedical Engineering at the University of Minnesota.
