Jennie first reached out when baby Willie was just 5 months old, and their family was completely exhausted.
She was preparing to return to work after maternity leave while running on very little sleep and feeling understandably overwhelmed.
Together, we created a sleep plan tailored specifically to their family, and things quickly started improving. But what I love most about this story is that our work together didn’t stop there.
Over the years, I’ve been able to support their family through nap transitions, travel, daylight savings, and all the little sleep curveballs that come with growing kids. Willie is now 4 years old, and it’s been such a joy continuing to walk alongside their family through different stages.
Jennie shared: “Leann is kind, thoughtful and so good at what she does — I can’t recommend her enough!”
Long-term support and relationships like this mean so much to me! 🥹

Father’s Day looks a little different in every season of parenting.
Sometimes it’s sleeping in past 6 a.m.
Sometimes it’s backyard games and sticky little hands.
Sometimes it’s simply surviving the newborn stage together.
To all the dads, stepdads, grandpas, and father figures showing up for bedtime routines, middle-of-the-night wakeups, early mornings, and all the little moments in between — you matter more than you know.
Wishing you a Father’s Day filled with whatever you need most this year: rest, family time, good food, laughter, or simply feeling appreciated.
Happy Father’s Day! 💙🩵

When Elsie first reached out, baby Rosa was sleeping in bed with her parents, waking multiple times a night, and struggling to nap longer than 30 minutes independently.
I'm so excited to share how far Elsie's family has come since we first met. Rosa now sleeps through the night, takes long, restful naps, and falls asleep independently.
One of the things that meant the most to Elsie was feeling supported through all the ups and downs— regressions, schedule changes, and everything in between. 🩷
She shared: “Leann is absolutely the best… We really appreciated her knowledge of sleep, but also her compassion as a parent.”
I’m so grateful I got to support this sweet family for over 6 months and even more grateful that they now have the confidence and tools to handle future sleep challenges, too.

Bringing home a new baby is a huge adjustment for everyone… especially toddlers. 🧒👧
Even children who were previously sleeping well may suddenly start:
✨ Waking more at night
✨ Fighting bedtime
✨ Asking for extra cuddles or stories
✨ Showing signs of jealousy or regression
The good news is this is incredibly common, and consistency can make a big difference.
In my newest blog post, I’m sharing practical tips for helping older siblings adjust while keeping sleep routines as steady as possible during the newborn transition.

Christina’s little one was waking every hour… every single night… from 4 months to 10 months old. 😴
They tried everything—crib, bed, couch, chair—just trying to survive the exhaustion. Naps only happened if Christina was holding little Banks.
And while they desperately needed sleep, the “cry it out” methods didn’t feel right for their family.
So we created a gentle, personalized plan that fit their comfort level and parenting style.
Now that we've worked through the plan?
✨ Banks is sleeping 7:30 p.m. – 5:30 a.m.
✨ He's taking two solid naps a day
✨ They're a well-rested, happier family
Christina described it best: “Literally life changing.” 🎉
If you’re exhausted and feeling like you’ve tried everything, you’re not alone, and better sleep is possible.

“Mom, I need water.”
“I forgot to tell you something!”
“I can’t find my stuffie…” 😅
If your toddler suddenly becomes a master negotiator at bedtime, you’re not alone.
Toddlers are constantly testing boundaries, and once they discover something gets them out of bed or brings you back into the room, they tend to repeat it again and again (and again!)
The key? Calm, consistent responses and predictable boundaries help in these tough moments.
In my newest blog post, I’m sharing practical tips for:
✨ Bedtime stalling
✨ Toddlers leaving their room
✨ Early morning wake-ups
✨ Consequences that actually help

Two kids. Two completely different sleep struggles… one exhausted family.
When Billy and Beth reached out, their nights looked like this:
A toddler who couldn’t stay in her own bed, constant wake-ups and meltdowns…
and a baby who wouldn’t sleep longer than 30–40 minutes at a time.
They were surviving on less than four hours of broken sleep and doing whatever they could just to get through the night.
We created a personalized plan for both girls and worked through the challenges together—because real life sleep isn’t always perfectly linear.
And within just a couple of weeks?
✔️ Both girls sleeping in their own beds
✔️ 4 hours of sleep is a thing of the past
✔️ Parents finally getting the sleep they need (in their own bed!)
But even more than that, they now have the tools and confidence to handle whatever sleep challenges come next.
That’s always the goal! 💪
If your nights feel overwhelming right now, it doesn’t have to stay that way. https://tendertransitionsmn.com/scheduling/

Sleep can be challenging for any family…but when your child has special needs, those challenges can feel even heavier.
There’s no one-size-fits-all approach, but there are some foundational steps that can help improve sleep:
✨ Clear expectations
✨ Consistency
✨ Patience (so much patience)
Small, steady steps can lead to meaningful change over time. 🥰
If sleep has been a struggle in your home, you’re not alone, and support is available.

Kenzie and Quinton came to me feeling completely exhausted.
Their daughter, Ayla, was waking frequently through the night, relying on feeds, and no one was getting the rest they needed. Like so many families, they had reached that point of thinking… something has to change.
We focused on a plan that felt realistic for their family, supporting Ayla in learning to sleep more independently while keeping things manageable and consistent.
And slowly, things started to shift.
Ayla is now sleeping through the night, naps are more predictable, and their home feels calmer, more rested, and more enjoyable again.
There’s nothing better than seeing a family get their evenings, their energy, and their joy back. ♥️
If you’re in a similar place right now, you don’t have to figure it out alone.
I'd love to help you get back to counting sheep! https://tendertransitionsmn.com/scheduling/

If your child is in daycare (or heading there soon), you’ve probably wondered…
Can sleep training still work? 💭
One of the biggest challenges families face is trying to balance their ideal sleep schedule with the reality of daycare routines. Naps may not happen at the “right” time, daycare may provide sleep props you wouldn't, and things can feel out of your control.
But here’s the good news: sleep training and daycare can absolutely work together.
With the right communication and a strong foundation at home, your child can still develop healthy, independent sleep habits.
In my latest blog post, I’m sharing practical tips to help you navigate daycare schedules, support better naps, and stay consistent where it matters most.
