This 2016 STI put down 565 HP and 472 FT-LBS. 🔥
Under the hood is a JMA Stage 3 Block paired with pocket-ported heads, GSC S2 cams & springs, and a Blouch Turbo DOM 3.0.
The rest of the setup includes a FMIC, intake, PLM EWG, Turbosmart CompGate40, ID1750x injectors, dual 340LPH pumps, IAG top-feed rails, Aeromotive FPR, and a COBB Tuning NexGen Flex Fuel setup.
Tuned for 20 PSI on 91 octane and 26 PSI on E85 🌽
After putting all that together, there was only one thing left to do…
Put it on the dyno.

This 2010 WRX came in overheating and during testing found the thermostat had been installed backwards.
We’re also taking care of valve cover leaks, timing components, and all four brakes.
A little preventative maintenance now can save you a headache when the temps drop.

Here is our 92.9 standing start shootout from this last weekend at the Octane Autofest at Brainerd International Raceway this last weekend.
As you can see there are a few bad bouncing occurrences in the rear diff. Mainly, you can hear the throttle being eased into out of turns/corners which greatly affected the time but prevented a worse outcome.
Also first time with the new Fortune Auto coilovers at this track with little time to dial them in so we were a little bouncy in turn 2 but will know to go stiffer next year to allow more speed to be carried. The amount of handling they are giving us out of turns is making the diff fight us even more at times!
We debated prepping for another 2 laps but decided to take the season's data and head home after a very successful season for the JM Auto Team!!!
We're going to try dialing back the diff some more before next season along with some other big plans this winter for the car (aero, drivetrain, motor), and we have a 2 year plan in place for it! Stay tuned!

It's all tied together with OpenSource Flex Fuel Speed Density tuning resulting in 473hp and 475 ft-lbs tq!

What a great weekend at Brainerd International Raceway for Octane Autofest! This is always a great event to end the season.
JM had a good 8-10 cars out there racing this weekend and we took home 5 trophies and endless smiles!
The RSTI proved to still be improving and ran a crazy 10.1 quarter mile time at 144 MPH (with street tires and lots of camber so did not hook well) while running a personal best and best time of the weekend on the road course of 92.909 (ran a 92.1 but hit the cone on the launch lol).
The RSTI also found the bouncing rear end again with the great track conditions unfortunately! So it was partial throttle out of most corners. Sounds like we are opening the rear diff again to make some more changes.
The RSTI took 1st in class in all 3 events. Finishing 6th out of 120 racers overall in autocross, first in drag and first on the road course.
This event is always a lot of fun for team JM. Being local most of the team makes it out and also seeing all our friends and other competitors from over the years is always great!!
This also is a great way for customers to come race with us and for us to help them out!
