Maple Grove Ambassador Scholarship Program

We had a fantastic day yesterday at our second Professional Workshop!

Our candidates and ambassadors gained valuable skills and confidence through interactive sessions focused on résumé building, interview skills, stage presence, and public speaking.

A special thank you to Kathryn and Megan for leading our workshop sessions and sharing your knowledge and expertise. We are also incredibly grateful to our mock interviewers for volunteering their time and helping our candidates practice and strengthen their interview skills.

Our Ambassadors and Candidates spent yesterday volunteering at the Maple Grove Lions Golf Tournament. We had so much fun helping out, meeting community members, and supporting a great event!

Following the Sponsor Lunch, the candidates and ambassadors headed to the Government Center for a presentation on how the City of Maple Grove operates, followed by a tour of the Police Department.

Last week we spent the evening cleaning up our section of county road 30!

On Saturday, Makenna attended her Aquatennial Candidate Orientation and got a glimpse into what her exciting week as an Aquatennial candidate will look like. She spent the day meeting fellow candidates, learning about the traditions and events that make Aquatennial so special, and preparing for an unforgettable experience during the Best Days of Summer this July!

We are so proud of Makenna and can’t wait to cheer her on throughout her Aquatennial journey. 💙

City Council Meeting Last Night!
