SCTIS is a one-of-a-kind opportunity for fifth-grade students in Minnesota’s Osseo Area Schools to make a difference for students in Sasabe, Sonora, Mexico.
SCTIS was founded in 2006 by Tammie Epley. A one-of-a-kind opportunity to give back! Students Connecting Through International Service (SCTIS) provides opportunities for students at four elementary schools in District 279 (located in the NW suburbs of the Twin Cities) to make a difference for students in Sasabe, Sonora, Mexico. Three of our students have now successfully completed their school supply drives. They all worked hard and raised over $8,000 to buy school supplies for the Mexican children! We're so grateful to the students, staff, and families of Edinbrook, Elm Creek, and Park Brook Elementary for all of their support and encouragement!
