Restore the beacon that meant so much to the Sabine Parish Community! Sabine High School is exponentially transitioning to ruins due to lack of funding. This campus once educated African American children from 1957 to 1970--declared a historic site by the Department of Interior in 2020. $7M needed to transform this campus into a multipurpose community center for Sabine Parish, LA located in Northwest Louisiana. The residents of Sabine Parish are in need of services for children, youth, young adults, and seniors.
Please share our GoFundMe Link with others to solicit donations. Your HELP is needed.

Here is a message for you to get through this school year! Remember, Many in the Louisiana community will continue to support you! We love EVERYONE as we continue on with the revitalization project, even when the project is finalized, WE STILL have a WHOLE LOT OF LOVE TO GIVE TO YOU!
Remember, our food distribution ministry is available to EVERYONE! It's located on the campus in the cafeteria! Please, feed our babies while they are getting their education/becoming better people daily!

Who is Sabine High School - Blue Waves?
An African American High School called Sabine High School (Blue Waves) was closed in 1970, yet the Blue Waves are still moving forward!
In 2018, a group of Alumni of SHS formed an exploratory committee to focus on revitalizing the campus for the community.
In March 2020, the precious campus was declared a historic site. The committee formed a nonprofit organization called the Sabine High School Revitalization Project Management Group, Inc. in Fall 2020.
On the SHS campus, here is what is happening now:
The cafeteria building is being used by the Pine Belt Multipurpose Agency currently distributing food throughout the month to the residents of the Sabine Parish community. Not only is it being used by this particular agency, but the cafeteria is also available to be leased.
Though the revitalization journey has started, the group is accepting donations to get to the finish line, which involves the campus offering childcare services, a healthcare agency, office space, a museum, an incubator for entrepreneurship, a gym for youth activities, basketball courts, a pavilion for picnicking, and a farmers market.
SHSRP Management Group Inc. is currently preparing to revitalize the cafeteria. Thank you kindly for your giving.
