Way to go everyone, we hit 10 million minutes read this summer! Thanks to your incredible accomplishment BCLS will be receiving a set of Wonder Workshop Dash Robots to use for STEM programming. Here at Manvel you've also helped put Dippy the dino back together and I know he's happy to be whole again!

You can continue to log your reading until midnight on July 31st and prizes are still available while supplies lasts. Don't forget to join us on Saturday for our End of Summer reading Foam Party!

Summer reading comes to an end this week! Bring the whole family out to celebrate your reading achievements with a foam party! Enjoy a backyard foam canon with music and stop in to pick up any last minute prizes (while supplies lasts). We'll also be drawing for our branch prizes during the foam party.

Swim/beach wear and towels are strongly recommended for this event.

Get your summer reading minutes in before they go extinct! Summer reading at the library ends this Friday, July 31st but there's still more fun to be had. Join us on Tuesday for a fun Water Filter STEM craft and stop by on Saturday for a foam party to celebrate the end of summer reading! Summer Reading prizes are still available while supplies lasts but our branch prize drawing will take place during the foam party so be sure to stop by and get your tickets in by Friday. Our final program of the summer is this coming Tuesday, July 28th at 2pm! Join us next week for a Water Filter STEM craft. Learn about how water is naturally filtered on our amazing planet and build a water filter of your own to see it in action!

This program is designed for children ages 6 - 11 years old. Supplies are limited to 35 participants.

We hope you enjoyed our July meeting, Romantasy Readers! Let's get the ball rolling and start our August selection: Fear The Flames by Olivia Rose Darling. Join us in readding the first title in this series about a lost princess trying to get her dragons back and the ruthless commander who will do anything he can to help her.

Texas Reptiles returns to the Manvel Library this week! Join us for our penultimate summer reading program and learn about some local wildlife. We'll also be hosting our July meeting of the Romantasy Readers book club and voting on our 2027 selection! Have you enjoyed spending time at the library this summer and want to become more involved? Considering stopping by Thursday night for the MCLA (friends of the library) quarterly meeting.

It's almost time for our next meeting Romantasy Readers! We'll be getting together this coming Tuesday for two very important things: our book club discussion AND voting on our 2027 book club selections! So stop by and enjoy a lively discussion on Abigail Owen's The Games Gods Play followed by a vote of upcoming reads. We'll also have copies of our August selection available after the meeting!
