🚲🛴 New Electric Bike & Scooter Ordinance

The City of Manvel has adopted a new ordinance to help keep everyone safe while riding electric bicycles, mopeds, and electric scooters. The ordinance establishes rules for where these devices may be ridden, speed limits on sidewalks and shared-use paths, safety equipment requirements, age restrictions, and other operational guidelines.

A few important reminders:
✅ Follow all traffic laws.
✅ Yield to pedestrians.
✅ Ride at safe speeds.
✅ Helmets are required for riders under 15 in certain situations.
✅ Class III e-bikes are not allowed on sidewalks.

Our goal is to keep our streets, sidewalks, and parks safe for everyone. Please take a few minutes to familiarize yourself with the new regulations before heading out on your ride.

Ride safely and be courteous to others! 🚴‍♀️🛴
