Happy Monday and NATIONAL CHAI DAY ☕️🔅

This delicious beverage can be enjoyed hot or over ice - the spiced tea made with black tea, milk, and aromatic spices such as cardamom, ginger, cinnamon, cloves, and black pepper is perfect for fall. Today is a good excuse to enjoy a (slightly caffeinated) beverage with cultural roots in India.

Inspired- our next intake is named Goldie Chai 🍂
She is heartworm positive and will require treatment after being spayed. She's a young adult currently just 60 lb. Fawn Dobermans have all the coloring of fall spices - and an iced chai latte!

Newest to Rescue is CookieButter pulled from BARC (euthanasia list for medical), Lychee is from Fort Bend County and is battling a skin infection that left her paws and belly raw. Medusa is one of our long term dogs originally from Lufkin now seeking a second chance. Each Bulldog or Bully had been used for breeding then dumped.

Remember Eggroll? 🥡

In true Bulldog fashion, he tested his new family by offering his b***y and demanding scratches - they passed! Eggroll is a FULL personality. Eggroll arrived today in Illinois to meet his family.

Thanks to AJC Transport and his family for seeking Rescue.
