Most managers are promoted before they are trained.
They earned the promotion because they were great at the job.
Then suddenly they're expected to lead people.
Set expectations.
Hold accountability.
Navigate conflict.
Coach performance.
No one taught them how.
That's why so many organizations struggle with the same issues:
Repeated problems.
Missed expectations.
Frustrated Rockstars.
Managers who work hard but lack the tools to lead effectively.
The good news is leadership is a skill. And skills can be learned.
The Great Boss Workshop is built for:
• New managers stepping into leadership for the first time
• Strong performers who now lead others
• Mid level managers who want more confidence and clarity
• Organizations that want stronger accountability and ex*****on

Most managers are promoted before they are trained.
That creates uncertainty fast.
Avoided conversations.
Unclear expectations.
Good people second guessing themselves.
One past attendee said it better than I can: “Having little to no experience managing people, this workshop put me at ease & gave me tools & confidence to go forward.”
That is exactly why I teach the Great Boss Workshop.
If you have new managers or rising leaders who need more confidence leading people, this workshop gives them practical tools they can use immediately.
The June 26 virtual workshop includes materials provided by Ninety.io and lunch sponsored by Titus Talent Strategies.
One day.
No travel.
Practical leadership tools that strengthen accountability and communication immediately.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for last Friday’s Great Boss Workshop. We had an outstanding group of leaders who were willing to engage, share experiences, challenge ideas, and invest in becoming better bosses for their people and organizations.
One of the best parts of every workshop is seeing leaders realize that being a great boss is not about having all the answers, it is about creating clarity, accountability, consistency, and trust within your team. The conversations, energy, and willingness to learn made this workshop a great success.
A special thank you as well to Titus Talent Strategies for sponsoring lunch for our attendees.
If you missed this workshop and want to sharpen your leadership skills, our next Great Boss Workshop is coming up on June 26. You can learn more and register here: https://joepaulsen.com/great-boss

Even though officially wrapped up last week, we still wanted to take a moment to recognize and thank Kolbe Corp for the opportunity to work with the End of Life Doula Collaborative.
We had to move our session, but the conversations and insights that came from helping this team better understand their instinctive strengths were absolutely worth the wait. In work as meaningful and people-centered as end-of-life care, understanding how each person naturally takes action creates deeper trust, stronger collaboration, and healthier teams.
Thank you to the End of Life Doula Collaborative for investing in your people and to Kolbe for continuing to champion strengths-based development.
The Mentally Strong Institiute completed a challenging quarter & remains focused on empowering people to unlock their potential to play bigger!
