From PMS to our thyroid all the way to menopause and beyond, our hormones are constantly on a high wire act as we seek balance.
When we’re experiencing hormonal imbalance in our bodies, symptoms can arise in any number of ways—painful periods, exhaustion, and inconsistent and unpredictable side effects to start. Nobody wants to feel out of control in their own body. Luckily, one way to take back that sense of control and improve our quality of life is acupuncture.
Through this Traditional Chinese Medicinal practice, as the thin needles are inserted into strategic points in your body, endorphins are released to help reduce stress and anxiety. If stress is a major factor contributing to your hormonal imbalance, this aspect alone is beneficial, but it’s not the only benefit.
Research shows that acupuncture can influence the endocrine system and support the regulation of the hypothalamus-pituitary-ovarian and the hypothalamus-pituitary-adrenal axis.
In layman’s terms? Both systems relate to our hormone production and regulation, including the management of hormones such as cortisol, estrogen, thyroid hormones, and more.

Stress, poor sleep, pain, and emotional tension don’t just disappear—they build up in the body over time, especially as we age. Thai Yoga Bodywork offers a powerful way to release that accumulation—not just physically, but holistically.
Through a combination of rhythmic movement, assisted stretching, and deep stillness, this practice helps regulate the nervous system, calm the mind, and support more restful sleep. It encourages your body to let go—of tension, of stored emotion, of the constant effort to hold everything together.
Unlike other massage styles, Thai Yoga Bodywork engages your whole system, inviting healing through movement, breath, and connection.
The result? More ease. Less pain. Deeper rest.
At Menari, we believe your body already knows how to heal. This work isn’t about fixing what’s broken—it’s about supporting your natural intelligence, helping you feel more present, more cared for, and more at home in your own skin.

What happens to our bodies when we enter Menari’s infrared sauna and follow it with a cold plunge?
First, the heat improves our arteries’ ability to dilate through feeding the protective lining of our blood vessels. This supports and regulates our blood pressure and blood clotting. The heat also triggers the body’s healing mechanisms, increasing white blood cell production and awakening the body’s natural defenses. Your healing is sped up, your circulation is improved and makes physical activity easier, and you’re detoxifying your body.
Then comes the cold plunge.
When we plunge ourselves into a drastically different temperature, our body constricts our blood vessels, slowing our heart rate and increasing blood pressure. The cold relieves muscle soreness and reduces inflammation; two benefits incredibly helpful for our more active, summer selves. The cold also reduces inflammation and supports immune functions like the sauna, giving you a one-two punch.
Through going back and forth with hot and cold you’ll switch between dilating and constricting your blood vessels, which makes them more pliable and flexible. You’re promoting faster muscle recovery with the aid of the sauna and cold plunge, both working to help muscle repair, while also benefiting from a grounding experience.

Botox freezes your face—Gua Sha feeds it.
Botox may seem like a quick fix, but it works by paralyzing muscles and can block the natural flow of blood, lymph, and even qi (your body’s life force energy). Gua sha, on the other hand, does the opposite—supporting healthy circulation, lymphatic drainage, and skin’s natural plumpness and radiance.
Our Intuitive Facial Ritual uses gua sha along with facial cupping and lymphatic brushing to sculpt, smooth, and restore vitality—honoring your natural beauty without toxins or downtime.
Let us help your skin age gracefully—on your terms.

Adding LED light therapy to your skincare routine is beneficial all year round, but it packs a special punch when used to address summer skin concerns.
Blue light therapy combats summer breakouts by killing bacteria that causes acne while it also supports healing for skin impacted by sun exposure. This therapy is commonly used to treat sun and UV damage and even premalignant or malignant skin cancer growths. If that isn’t enough, it also improves skin texture, assists in diminishing or removing sun spots and scars, and helps reduce enlarged oil glands.
By adding red light, you’re improving your cells' ability to work efficiently as well. Red light therapy works through the “power plant” of the body’s cells, also known as the mitochondria. This increased energy improves the cells’ ability to do things like repair skin and boost new cell growth. Collagen production is stimulated as well, supporting improved skin structure, strength, and elasticity which is essential during summer months when the sun can catch us unexpectedly.
If you’re dealing with inflammation, red light soothes your skin to lessen redness and discomfort.
Not only are you supporting your skin in healing by adding light therapy into your skincare rituals, but you’re also building your skin stronger and more resilient to the elements. In as little as ten minutes, light therapy does the work to give your skin its best chance at its healthiest state this summer.
Experience the power of LED with any facial!
