Woof! Woof! The therapy dogs made a visit to Ecumen Pathstone. We love when our furry friends stop by for pets and snuggles. It is an added bonus that they show off their tricks too. Thank you to all the dogs and their handlers that came by to see us.

Wellness is about so much more than exercise.

At Ecumen Pathstone, our Ecumen Wellness program is offered at least three times each week in every area of our campus. While staying physically active is important, true wellness also includes joy, connection, laughter, and a sense of purpose.

This sunshine-filled wellness session took place in one of our beautiful courtyards and featured a spirited game of balloon volley. A reminder that wellness isn’t measured only by movement—it’s found in moments of happiness shared together.

Smiles on faces. Laughter in the air. Spirits lifted. This is what wellness looks like.

Ecumen Pathstone hosted a cheese tasting event! 🧀

Needless to say, everyone had a GOUDA time! We served several kinds of cheese including brie, sharp cheddar, and fresh mozzarella. Those in attendance rated different characteristics of the cheese for example: aroma, texture, and taste. After the tasting they put a final score down to ultimately decide which cheese was best! We think this event was GRATE from start to finish!

We were saddened to hear that Mankato Clinic had to say goodbye to 100 of their dedicated team members this week. Organizations like this make such a meaningful impact in our communities, and we want to recognize their incredible dedication to caring for others.

Sleeves rolled up and gloves on tight,
Pathstone residents were a gardening sight!

Petunias, daisies, and geraniums galore,
Planting and digging from door to door.

A little dirt here, a little dirt there,
And somehow dirt ended up everywhere!

Now our campus blooms in every direction—
Proof that teamwork grows quite the collection.

What an incredible day!

Ecumen Pathstone loaded up the bus and took a ride to see the Minneopa State Park bison herd. It was a fantastic reminder of why connecting in our community matters. Some of the best conversations, ideas, and relationships happen when we step away from our day to day and experience the amazing things our community has to offer.

We are incredibly fortunate to have such a unique and beautiful attraction right here in the Mankato area. Not every community can say they have a free-ranging bison herd just minutes from town, making Minneopa State Park a destination that draws visitors from across the state and beyond.

One of the highlights was seeing the herd continue to grow with this year’s baby calves. Watching these young bison alongside the adults is a powerful reminder of the conservation success story happening right in our own backyard.

Getting involved in the community, supporting local attractions, and appreciating the natural resources around us helps strengthen the place we all call home. Today was a great reminder that sometimes the best way to spend a day is to get out, explore, and connect locally.

The sun is shining. The weather is great! We are getting into Summer feels this week!

We are growing chia plants and grass at our Ecumen day services in Mankato and St Peter. We had a silly time putting together funny faces on each of the pots so that as the chia and grass grow, it looks like hair. We think we did a pretty great job. Now it's time for some haircuts!
