Metal casting facility with deep roots in the Mankato area! Dotson employs over 140 people and their vision is to become the world’s most agile foundry.
Dotson supplies ductile iron castings to over 150 customers across North America primarily in the agricultural, heavy truck, and industrial markets. Finished castings range in weight form 2 to 50 pounds and are produced in a paperless highly automated continuous flow production facility. MPS Mankato was proud to participate in this year’s Tour of Manufacturing!
We hosted 6 schools and more than 180 students who toured our facility, learned about the foundry process, and saw firsthand the exciting opportunities in manufacturing.
A big thank you to the students, teachers, and organizers who made this event a success. We’re excited to help inspire the next generation of makers and innovators!
