Mankato, get ready for a May Day Week of Action!
COPAL MN's Mankato office is hosting an event supporting workers in Minnesota.
Learn about the origins of International Workers’ Day, the 1886 Chicago protests, and how the struggle continues today for immigrant workers across Minnesota. Then, take action to change the narrative!

Great opportunity to find resources in Southern Minnesota!
Join us for Project Community Connect on Tuesday, April 22 from 1-4 p.m. at the Mayo Clinic Health System Event Center's Grand Hall. This is a FREE community resource event. More than 80 service providers will be available to help. Find many resources all in one place, including: housing, employment, disability, food, legal and more.
Highlights include:
- Free bag lunch
- Free haircuts
- Hygiene/household items
- Government ID vouchers, while supplies last
- Free childcare
- Shoes available for purchase from the Shoe Bus ($2-$5), with a limited number of free shoe vouchers available
- Free transit rides to/from event by City of Mankato (tell the driver you are going to PCC)
- Interpreters available
- . . . and much more!

We are moved and excited about the Mankato Food Not Bombs group, providing free, healthy meals once a month to our community.
