There are two TAPP classes that are offered. Another resource that Central provides for TAPP students with the help of our community is an on-site daycare.
The TAPP Program at Central was developed to help teen parents address the struggles that they will encounter with their health, education, social relationships and finances. The first is a TAPP Family and Consumer Science class the gives students the life skills that will help them run a home successfully. The second TAPP class is a seminar class that helps engage the parents in discussions with

It's been a long time since I have posted everything, but I want you all to know we are doing well! The TAPP Program is assisting young parents so they can graduate and do great things!

Be sure to join us at the Children's Museum between 4:30 – 7:30 p.m. this Thursday, April 20th when admission will be free-of-charge thanks to sponsorship support provided by Wells Fargo. In addition, Wells Fargo will be providing an exciting door prize that will be given away to one lucky winner that has entered their name to be considered in a drawing that will take place at 6:00 p.m.
Other special activities you will not want to miss:
· Angie’s BOOMCHICKAPOP will be onsite from 4:30 – 7:00 p.m. to pop their delicious corn as well as provide a seed planting activity in the Museum’s Ag Lab. Museum visitors that enter their name for the door prize drawing will also be included in a Garden Tote door prize give-away!
· RABBITS will be onsite, including special programing from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. led by Laura Corgaard - Blue Earth County 4-H Rabbit Project.

For those looking for an update on our program, we have all 4 spots full in the daycare and six on the waiting list! I wish we could fit them all.
It is so hard to hear about parents not in school and others stuggling. Our community does so much more than many others, but I wish we could do more.
